Mac Launches Capsule Collection Inspired by Emma Stone's New Cruella Character

Cruella is one of the most anticipated films of the year not only thanks to the new point of view of the life of one of the greatest Disney villains, but also because of the aesthetics that the film promises us.

As happened with Maleficent, Cruella promises to give us all the glamor of the character mixed with the madness of this antagonist, resulting in a chaotic and punk style with great touches of glam, which we saw in the 70s, with crimson lips and contrasting black and white shadows.

"Currently trends are looking at specific counterculture movements, in this collection Mac returns to celebrate the DIY (faded) style and that brave transformation that made Mac a maverick brand," explains Mac director Terry Barber. .

In this way, Mac encourages us to go back to using blue shadows on the eyelids, outlining our lips in brown, using white eyeliner on the water line of the eyes or applying blush to the temples to recreate the makeup of those years.

How could it be otherwise, the predominant colors are black and white and there is not a single product that is not bicolor, referring to the iconic two-color hairstyle of the protagonist.

Following this line, the packaging of the collection represents the duality of black and white, impregnating each product of the collection from the eyeshadow palette, through lipsticks, brushes and even an eyeliner with each end of a color.

It is a collection of essential basics that every makeup lover should have on their dressing table, such as the Cruella To Be Kind Gesso eyeshadow palette with a selection of eight shades with matte, satin and glitter finishes with colors for any look, the Powderblush Duo that combines a shade of pink and a more golden blush to illuminate the cheeks, synthetic hair brushes or lipsticks and glosses in essential colors such as nude, red and wine.

The collection goes on sale on May 14, just one day after the premiere of the film and promises to be unforgettable.
