Latest instructions for the Valencia 2021 Marathon: all you need to know

The Valencia Marathon is the great race of the year for thousands of athletes.After four months of training about 16,000 athletes test their preparation and physical and mental strength in a unique experience.For nothing to fail, the organization offers runners a guide with the latest instructions, with all the necessary information.Corridor Fair, how to get to the exit, where to park or how to move by public transport, the services that are available to athletes before and after the race, the runner's bag ... everything essential to prepare the race.

All athletes expressly compromise to follow the instructions and restrictions imposed according to the health direction of the event.

Who does not follow these rules will not be authorized to participate in the race.

The registration included a responsible statement of knowledge of COVID-19 with the data destined to guarantee the traceability of the participant.

No medical test will be necessary (PCR, antigens, ...) neither the vaccination passport to participate in the race.

Dorsal and corridor fair

· Dorsal collection and outdoor corridor fair.

EXIT

· Identifying bracelet necessary to access waiting zone, wardrobe, box, exit, finish and postmeta.(You cannot accompany you friends or family who do not run).

· Ordered access to area output by sectors and runners.

Who does not follow these rules will not be authorized to participate in the race.

· Output in separated waves in 15 minutes.

FACE MASK

· Mandatory use at fair.

· Mandatory use from the waiting zone to cross the departure frame, when reaching the finish line and postmetrus (the organization will provide a mask to those who have lost it in the race).

SERVICES

· Increase in WC ratio for each corridor.

· Elimination of massage and shower services.

PUBLIC

· Cyclists along the tour reminding the audience to keep the distance while observing the race.

HYGIENE MEASURES

· Avituallamientos attended by volunteers with mask and gloves.

· Increase of 50% of the expenditure on cleaning and hygiene in all areas of the race.

Corridor Fair

Expodeporta Valencia, the Valencia Marathon Fair Trinidad Alfonso EDP, will be located in the City of Arts and Sciences on December 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in uninterrupted hours.

All registered runners and their companions can access, although at certain times the access by the capacity of the Prince Felipe Museum could be regulated.

HOW TO GET?

We recommend the use of public transport.

• EMT Valencia

Lines 18, 40, 71, 93 and 98 are those that have stops closest to the corridor fair.In the official EMT València app you can see the frequency of lines and waiting time for buses in real time.

• TROLLEY CAR

Line 4 of the tram has a stop next to the corridor fair, Tarongers.In the official app of the Metrovalence you can see the frequency of lines and the waiting in real time.

• Bicycle or Valenbisi

Next to the wardrobe there will be a parkabicis for those runners who come with their bicycle.There are parking lots in the area, both to go with your own bicycle or in Valenbisi.

• Scooters

Access with scooters will be allowed as long as it is not used in the facilities.The use of mask throughout the enclosure is mandatory.

Dorsal collection and runner bag

The dorsal-chip, the accrediting bracelet and the runner's bag can only be collected in Expodeporte on December 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

As of December 1, changes will not be accepted in the dorsal.

You can authorize another person to be collected by the dorsal-chip, bracelet and bag in your name through the self-service area of the Valencia Marathon.No paper authorization will be collected.

You should not take away the identification bracelet until the race has passed, as it will be mandatory to enter the exit zone and for postmetics services.

Remember to pass with your dorsal through the chip control point at the fair to check that it works correctly and is assigned to your name.

We recommend not going to the hours of greater influx (12-14h and 18-20h).

Vaccination point

The Department of Universal Health and Public Health of the Generalitat Valencia will install a vaccination point against the COVID-19 on the occasion of the Expodeporta Corridor Fair that is held prior to the Valenciatrinity Marathon Alfonso EDP, on December 3 and 4 in the city ofArts and sciences.

The mobile vaccination team will attend on Friday 3 from 10 a14 hours and from 4 pm to 8 pm and Saturday 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In this way, people who have not yet been vaccinated against the coronavirus or have only received a dose of the vaccine, can approach the Expodeporte fair to immunize with the medical staff of the Generalitat Valenciana, regardless of whether they are runners, companions or visitors.

PREVIOUS ACTIVITIES

The departure from the Valencia Marathon will take place from 8:15 p.m. in the Plaça de la Mararató, by the Road of the Monteolivete bridge closer to the Hemisfèric.

It will be carried out in spacious batches according to the accredited speed of the runners when registered in order to improve the safety of all runners.

Yellow: 8:15 h

Greens: 8:30 a.m.

Blue: 8:45 h

ROSAS: 9:00 H

Each corridor must leave in the wave that has been assigned according to the accredited brand.Each output is identified with a color that corresponds to that of its dorsal.

Each color will access through a different area and at a different time

Important!: The organization does not recommend accessing the departure area or the wardrobe through the Monteolivete bridge after 7:30 am.

The closest bridges to cross the river from the Paseo de la Alameda to the Avenida del Professor López Piñero are the Pont of the Regne and the Pont de l'Assut d'Or.

There will be a step to cross the Plaça de la Mararató from one part of Professorlzpez Piñero Avenue to another open until 8 hours.Then you can't cross the square until all waves come out.

To access the output zone it will be necessary to show it a bracelet that will be placed when collecting the number.

It is mandatory to use the mask to cross the output line and once passed the finish line.

Dorsal-chip

The dorsal must be carried in the front and must be visible at all times.The chip is stuck in the dorsal.

WARDROBE

The wardrobes will be located in the central part of the Avinguda of Professor López Piñero (a few meters from the exit). Your wardrobe will be the one that has the same color as your dorsal.Hours: from 6: 45h to 15: 30h.

You can leave a bag or backpack by registered identified with the adhesive label that will be delivered to this effect next to the dorsal.

At the end of the test, you can access that area to collect your bag.

ZONA DE ESPERA Y EXIT

Exceptionally, the change of schedule, box or wave is not allowed.

It is strictly forbidden to come out in a wave of a different color than the one assigned in your number.

It is recommended to arrive with enough time because the controls will be stricter than usual.

It is not allowed to run without dorsal or with dorsal in the name of another person.

It is mandatory to use mask in the output boxes and even cross the output line.

The maximum time to finish the race is 2h30: 00 from the moment the exit line crosses.Every runner who reaches km 10 after 10:25 will be disqualified by his projection of not ending in the established time.

Practical

You can run following one of our practices.They are very experienced runners that will take you to the ideal pace to get in your desired time.They will carry a very visible banderola so you can identify them.

Your rhythms will be:

• 2:50 - First wave

• 3:00, 3:15, 3:30 - Second wave

• 3:45 - Third wave

• 4:00, 4:15, 4:30 and 5:00 - FOUR OLADA

Avituallamientos

There will be liquid supplies at kilometer points 5.8, 10.4, 15.6, 19.5, 24.5, 30.3, 35.6, 37.6 and 40.5, in addition to the finish line.There will be water and energy drink.

Ribera Pharmacy will install six fast assistance points where they will provide vaselin and analgesic spray to all that corridor that needs it.Specifically, they will be in the miles 19.5, 24.5, 30.3, 35.6, 37.6 and 40.5.

WC

The organization has increased this year the chemical WC ratio by runner to avoid tails and group group.

There will be chemical WCS distributed in the exit zone, finish and at all supplies.

Medal and trophy recording

If you hired the medal recording service, you will have it indicated in your number.

If not, in Post-Meta, once you have finished the race, you can pay it at the time.Price: 10 euros.

The Finisher Medal recording service will be located next to the wardrobe.

This year, the organization puts at your disposal a personalized trophy with your partial times and position, you can hire it before and after the race entering your self -management zone on the inscription platform.

Exceptionally, this year there will be no showers.
