The Civil Guard, specifically members of the USECIC of the Jaén Command, within the framework of the Miller Plan, have arrested a man accused of a crime against public health after finding more than 10 kilograms of drugs in his vehicle.
Specifically, it was at a checkpoint established on the A-44 road, in the municipality of the capital of Jaén. Members of the specialized narcotics unit observed how a vehicle, before reaching the control, had stopped on the shoulder and that its driver threw some packages into the ditch.
Then they proceeded to check and inspect the area where the car had stopped, after which two dark-colored suitcases were located in the ditch and which the agents considered suspicious.
As soon as they opened it, they found clothes that served to hide at first glance and, later, transparent plastic bags. Upon closer inspection, it was found that they contained drugs, specifically marijuana, 10.7 kilos.
Once the vehicle was intercepted and the driver identified, it turned out to be a 40-year-old man from Madrid. The Civil Guard notifies that the man has entered prison by order of the judge.
