A diamond valued at more than two million almost ended up in the trash after being mistaken for a trinket

A 70-year-old English woman had a precious jewel in her home and had not valued it as such. She thought it was such a trinket...that she almost makes him throw it away. It was a rare diamond that finally and finally has caused a turnaround when they have appraised it.

The woman was cleaning her home in the county of Northumberland, in the United Kingdom, and it was when she found the 34-carat diamond that had been camouflaged in her home for years among her jewelry.

In fact, she was fond of buying trinkets at flea markets and car trunks, and she doesn't remember where or when she was able to acquire that valuable diamond. But that diamond was worth... two million euros. He won the 'lottery'.

Well, it was a neighbor who convinced her to take some of the jewelry she had in her house to an appraiser. Because if it hadn't been for him that diamond valued at those two million, she would have ended up in the trash.

"It was quite a large stone, like a coin, and at first I thought it was a synthetic stone that mimics diamond," said auctioneer Mark Lane.

Experts from Antwerp, in Belgium, where they certified that it was a 34-carat diamond. Until the jewel goes up for auction on November 30, it remains in custody and has already been dubbed the 'secret stone'.
