Drama in 'Charmed': we explain what happened between the actresses of the original series and the 'reboot'

It seems that the landing of the 'reboot' of the 'Charmed' series (2018) has generated as many fans as detractors, and it has not completely caught on with the audience, is it because we miss the 'originals'? Can be. Be that as it may, diverse opinions are often read on Twitter and, in fact, there is one in particular that brings us here.

If you are a follower of the actresses Holly Marie Combs, Rose McGowan or in your 'feed' some other reference to 'Charmed' appears, you would see a publication in which the actresses talked about the 'reboot'. According to the 'fandom', the words were not very successful. Rose (who played Paige) was arguing, "The show sucks. I haven't seen it though. But I can tell. Well, I'm glad people have jobs though," and Holly (Piper Halliwell) laughed.

And, although that publication generated a conversation of some followers who said that they were within their right to express what they wanted and others who were sure that there was a lack of sorority in those comments, the response that has created the most stir is that of one of the actresses of the 'reboot' itself, Sarah Jeffery.

THE 'FIGHT' BETWEEN THE 'CHARMED' ACTRESSES

The actress, who in the 'reboot' plays Maggie Vera, saw this publication and decided to comment on it on her Twitter profile, in which she expressed her opinion: "You know, I saw this before and I refrained from saying anything. I thought: better to leave it. But I want to say that I find it sad and frankly pathetic to see adult women behave in this way."

In a second tweet, she continued, "I really hope you find happiness elsewhere, and not in putting others down. I would be ashamed to behave this way. Peace and love to all."

Hours later, Holly Marie Combs issued a 'tweet' that fans have determined as a response to Sarah and the situation, and in which she justifies that what went viral was a part of the publication in question: "That's bullshit. Clearly. People who make derogatory accusations of a character, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, because of a difference of opinion on a TV show, are doing it wrong. And it's personal gain, too, honey."

What is your opinion of the situation?

The truth is that many dramas are happening among the actresses of the 2000s and we do not stop freaking out. We will continue to monitor to see if Sarah speaks again.
