I imagine what you are wondering, “but is it necessary to test on animals?”. The answer is no. Although the technology already exists to not use animals in laboratories, there are economic reasons that some companies take to continue doing so.
“The economic reasons” are basically based on the fact that in order to sell in China it is necessary to bend the arm and allow products that have already been tested with other technologies to be tested again on animals if you want permission to sell in the country.
