It happens to us a lot that we like a lipstick that we see advertised by a star and, when we get hold of it, we observe horrified that it does not favor us at all. This has a lot to do with your skin tone, which determines how contrasty the lip color you choose is.

Because if there is one factor that all make-up artists look at when choosing how to make up the face, eyes and lips, it is the color of the skin (and its undertones and nuances, a somewhat complicated world). If we wanted to compare the color of cool light skin with an object, the best would be blank paper. This means that they will hit a lot of tones. In the event that you want to give your lips a dramatic tone, you will have to opt for lipsticks that have a cold undertone: purple, mauve and plum.

When instead we look for a more natural tone, rose quartz is the color with the most exotic touch; nude is the most subtle, and light fuchsia will be much closer to your natural lip colour. Look at Madonna. She has waxy skin, blonde hair, and that's what these lipsticks look like. It is about your lips marking a couple of shades more, not that they take on all the prominence.

The lip color for warm fair skin

When the skin is fair, but warm, you need colors that are also warm. Here you will have to choose if you want them to be the absolute protagonists, which will lead you to choose colors such as coral, intense apricot and the entire range of bronzes and golds.

Dark skins have their great allies in corals and warm colors. Don't wear pale tones or your complexion won't look so glowing, it will tend to look dull. Much less if you use highly pigmented lipsticks in reds, purples and corals.
