Geometry, the protagonist of the (not) show by Jonathan Anderson for Loewe

Electricity. This is what Loewe has called the new collection presented for the autumn-winter 2021/2022 season by its creative director, Jonathan Anderson. And is not for less. Yesterday, they told us in a very original way - through a newspaper - that there would be no parade. However, despite this peculiarity and due to the pandemic, the firm has not ceased to surprise us. A creative delight that has left us speechless.

And although we have not been able to see the models parade for Loewe as on other occasions, the Spanish firm has left us with a wonderful introduction to the collection on the networks described by Jonathan Anderson. About 6 minutes of introduction to the presentation of the new collection that is worth seeing.

In the collection, without a doubt, there has been a great protagonist: geometry. Curved lines and a lot of fluidity in all the garments. From quilted coats, long tailored jackets, draped dresses and other long dresses with lapels, to accessories such as necklaces with different geometric shapes. The geometric detail and the volume in the hairstyles have not been lacking either, very much in line with the rest of the collection.

The sexy touch has been given by the dies and drapes, enhancing that elegant and sophisticated sex appeal that Loewe always leaves us. As for the footwear, the color block ankle boots with studded soles, others with pleated buckles and finally some with ankle bracelets have stood out. And of course, we haven't stopped looking at the brilliant bags in the new collection. The essential Puzzle has been present with a striped print and a yellow background. This iconic bag has been accompanied by others such as the Flamenco XL clutch in bright tones, the legendary Amazona bag -it was first launched in 1975- with the Loewe anagram in jacquard and the new Goya bag with flap.
