Copa Airlines updated the hand luggage policy aboard its flights to unify the established parameters for all national and international operations.The company reinforced that passengers can only carry a hand piece and a personal article in the cabin.

The hand piece must have a maximum weight of 10 kilos, whose dimensions (height, length and width) do not exceed 115 cm, this piece must be stored in the upper cabin compartment.The personal article can measure up to 43 cm high, 25 cm long and 22 cm wide, always stored under the seat in front of the passenger.

The measure is valid for all classes and for any type of passenger, both regular and prefermer silver, presidential, Platinum, Gold, in addition to Star Alliance Gold.The airline also reported that if hand luggage or personal article exceeds the allowed size, it will automatically be sent to winery as documented luggage.Because of this, charges can be applied due to excess luggage.
